Three new projects have now been started at separate locations, including a new water project and a housing project for the nearby Scheduled Tribes (ST) Colony, and a water project in a small village in Marripudi, about 85km from CPPP.

Join NAAAP San Diego in Watching "MISS GRANNY"

fullsizephoto386700-770x433

Join NAAAP San Diego as we attend PAC Art's Spring Showcase and watch "MISS GRANNY" - a comedic Korean film that portrays the transformation of a 74-year old grandma into a 20 year old.

NAAAP attendees will receive a special group pricing of $9/person. Non-group pricing tickets are $11.50. Please RSVP for your ticket and pay through our website beforehand. Only 10 spots are available!

Synopsis:

74-year-old Oh Mal-soon knows her hot-tempered, abrasive ways are driving her daughter-in-law and grandkids nutty. One fortuitous night, she chances upon an old-timey photo studio and decides to get a self-portrait – for her headstone, she says with equal parts grief and disdain. But this ain’t no ordinary photo studio. After the shoot, Granny looks in the mirror and finds that she’s been magically transformed into the twenty-year-old version of herself. And she ain’t no prim princess. Continuing to wreak havoc with her accented barbs and hard-headed violent tendencies that really only a grandma can get away with, Oh Mal-soon fends off young suitors and concocts a plan to get back at her family.

Empowerment in the Workplace - Be Your Own Advocate

Sometimes speaking up in the workplace can be tough. Whether it's asking for a raise, a promotion, or simply contributing your ideas, it's important to find your own voice.

Join us for a special workshop with Amy Chang, MS LMFT.  A licensed counselor, Amy will go over the inner challenges that one can face in the workplace and what you can do to overcome them. Learn how to speak up, assert your opinion, and examine the cultural behaviors that may contribute to the "bamboo ceiling".

Amy will also be available for Q&A, so don't miss out! RSVP today as spots are limited. Light refreshments will be served.
