NAAAP San Diego is proud to present
The 2011 Fall Professional Mixer
Giving back to our community through Fundraising and Charity
The Board Members of NAAAP San Diego are proud to bring you our 2011 Fall Professional Mixer, the largest networking event of the year sponsored by some of the most prolific contributors to the Asian American Community in San Diego. Net proceeds from our event will go to support Senhoa, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in California dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking in Asia. The survivors are young girls who were unwillingly sold into prostitution and made into slaves. Senhoa supports these victims of human trafficking by providing them with income generating opportunities, social reintegration and programs for self-improvement.
The Senhoa Jewelry Program aims to train vulnerable women to make high-quality women's accessories providing them with economic opportunities and viable manufacturing skills. Our event will showcase a one-of-a-kind fashion show featuring a cast of models prominently adorned in Senhoa Jewelry.
Net proceeds from our event, direct monetary donations and sales from Senhoa Jewelry will go to directly support these young women in their struggle to reclaim their lives through social programs, rehabilitation and employment-related skills training.
For more information on Senhoa and their efforts in helping the survivors, please visit www.senhoa.org.
